Planet India started as the brainchild of our Managing Director, Mr Rajesh Mudgill - the man credited with saving the corporate giant Abercrombie & Kent in India from total crisis and possible bankruptcy. A Post-Graduate in Management from Delhi University and with more than twenty-two years of rich and varied experience behind him, Mr Rajesh Mudgill is acknowledged today as one of the pioneers responsible for the promotion of tourism industry in India.

Rajesh Mudgill, Managing Director : Before taking over his current responsibility at Planet India, he has worked with some of the leading companies related to tour and travel. He has been a pioneer in the field of organising group tours to India. He also has various Incentive and Special Interest Tours and International conferences to his credit, including renowned corporates such as Opel, Clarion, Agfa etc. A Post-Graduate in Management from Delhi University, with more than two decades experience, Mr Rajesh Mudgill is acknowledged today as one of the pioneers responsible for the promotion of tourism industry in India. His invaluable contribution in starting and popularising "White Water Rafting", Adventure and Wildlife Tourism in India will not be forgotten in decades to come. The concept of tourist camps in Swiss Cottage Tents in India is also largely due to his initiative.

Ranjana Mudgill : Rajasthan Resorts & Camps, a brain child of Mrs. Ranjna Mudgill, the first woman entrepreneur who started the First Ever camp at Sam in the middle of Thar Desert in Rajasthan. Mrs. Mudgill, despite being woman, took the challenge and started Dune Safari Camp with just 15 tents to start with. Today Dune Safari Camp, with its 30 cottages, electricity back ups and running water, is the best and only permanent Camp in the area.

After successfully establishing Dune Safari Camp at village Sam, Jaisalmer, she has to her credit to bring Geejgarh Village, a tiny village in Tehsil Sikrai, Dist. Dausa in Rajasthan, to World Tourism Map. A keen conservationist, Mrs. Mudgill created a Village with in a Village and built up 20 cottages to give tourist their lifetime experience of Village Leaving. Set in the lap of the nature with agriculture farms all around, Geejgarh is a destination you would not like to miss. Just 90 kilometers from Jaipur, Geejgarh is very well located property. There are no TV’s in the room, nor will you find any plastic bottle in the area. One can enjoy the Organic food grown in house and enjoy the nature. For wellness freaks it is haven on the earth. Pick up your own veggies from the farm and take it to the cook. He will tell you how to cook these veggies. A free cooking class is organized each evening. Sunil Chadha, Director : A Post Graduate in Tourism from the College of Vocational Studies, Mr Sunil Chadha has been extensively involved in the promotion and organisation of Adventure Tourism in India. He has many first to his name, including the distinction of being India's first Master in Bungee Jump. He has conducted numerous camps in remote parts of the country including Pithoragarh, Dharcula, Puralia and Pushkar. He popularised Rafting camps on the Ganges and also in the Ladakh region. Mr Sunil Chadha is also well experienced in handling of corporate incentives, conferences and team building exercises.
